I think theres a problem with my drag comp, dyno sheet inside
Mods are in my sig.Truck drives perfect but I dynoed the truck today and heres the graph.Top # is last run and last # is 1st run, etc, etc.
1st run,4th gear drag comp on 1x5(EZ mode) 335/679
2nd run,4th gear drag comp on 3x5 340/685
3rd run,4th gear drag comp on 5x5 341/693
4th run,5th gear drag comp on 5x5 345/738
All runs were within 10 minutes of each other and @25psi.EGT's were around 900(650 post turbo)I know the low boost is holding me back but I wouldnt think no where near this much.Im sending the graph to Edge and im going to call them Monday.ANy ideas?

Comp
I can't read your chart that well, but your VP44 could be weak I had similar problems. By your sig. your running a stock turbo? With those inj. and stock turbo, if everthing was right I'd think your EGT's should be alot higher. My VP-44 was my problem. Just my thoughts. Thanks Steve B.

Get rid of the stock turbo and then you'll really see the difference. I'm willing to bet that your EGT's are through the roof. What kind of boost do you see on the street? Porbably more than 25 (at least you should). You definately need a LOT more air. Get a bigger turbo and I'll put money on it that you'll be in the 400's.

650* post turbo
It wont run much over 25 on the street and still cool on the egt's.
And im willing to bet on 500hp after the turbo swap/fixed comp.Ive run the comp on 1x5 since I got my SBC installed(with the jammers/new ip it walked thru the factory clutch)so I havent noticed any decrease in power. And the fact that my hx35 has 180k miles on it doesnt help im sure.
No compliment on my #'s?What are some of you guys makin on stock turbos?Or for that matter,Dodgezilla's or 40's?From what ive seen the tq # is up there for a 24v...

I made 371 with a normal comp, 275's, and a KSB-1. That's why I'm saying you need a bigger turbo to burn all of that fuel. I'm surprised that your running that little of boost with that much fuel and that low of EGT's. With just the comp and 275's on my little HY I could peg a 1500* pyro (pre turbo) at 80mph and hit around 40-42mph. My roommate with a set of Mach 1.5's and a comp could hit 40 or so with his HX and get up around 1500-1600.

Do you have the boost elbow in? Up to ~35psi boost you should still be cooling quite well with the HX35. I would even say better cooling at least up to 30psi, comparable to what you have now up to 35psi. What is cool to you? I'll run it to 1400 on the dyno for a few seconds, and I don't mind prolonged hills pulling my trailer at 1250.
Secondly, your air filter is gonna kill your max numbers. My BHAF works great on the street, but I gained ~10hp by running on the dyno with no air filter. (You have probably seen a bunch of posts already, but the K&N is notorious for getting filter oil in the intake tract and on the turbo compressor blades, and they don't filter very well. Just my $.02)

It didnt come with a boost elbow....I got it new from smokindiesel.com(great guys BTW)
Hottest it ran is 650,wasnt gonna bounce it off the rev limiter. Now with hills and pulling a trailer,I can get it over 1k post easy.
FP at WOT is 15psi...
I dont beleive the bad hype about K&N's and diesels. My gassers run 2x more hp than this diesel makes thru K&N's and theyre just fine.I bet people would be shocked to see the vast differences between oil analysis from the same vehicles between oil changes.

I had great luck with a K&N FIPK II up to 450 hp. Never any oil or debris in the Inlet tube.
Your print out looks like a Dynojet... was it?
Based on you EGT's...something is not right, IMO. With a Drag Comp, HX-35 and your injectors, you should be running hot enough to peg a pre turbo EGT gauge (1500*+). More air (up to 38 psi) would help the HP # a lot. Maybe a MBC... manual boost controller. I would not block the wastegate entirely... way too much boost!
I think you should be at 400 HP + and running very hot!
