I Need A Clutch!!
Ok, im sure that this has been beat to death, but i need to know what kinda clutch to look for. I also need a realistic guess on what im putting out. with 130 jammer injectors and a 120 horse edge comp, and my truck is a high output, i would like a estimate on the hp and the tq. I figure im puttin close to 450 hp and ??? foot pounds of torque. Am i close on the hp rating? i might upgrade the turbo in the future, so i might want to plan for that. i dont want a dd, for the fact that they are to friggin expensive. i would like to keep it under 1000 bucks. Ive looked into soutbend and i can get one right at a grand, but i dont know if i want that one or not. Is there a cheaper clutch out there that will hold 500 - 550 hp? ceramic, feramic, organic??? button clutch or not? i pull quite a bit. Thanks

Why go cheap, you'll just have to do it again!

Have to second southbend clutch
If money is tight you can always buy a used one now, most likely it'll hold whatcha got, and peter can rebuild it later.
But pursonally I don't like takin out a nv4500 let alone a 5600 for fun, so it is definitly better if ya only do it once and do it right
just my .02c

There is a bias as far as clutches go on here I'm pretty sure,(I know I am), but there is also a good reason for that, you will be hard pressed to find a better clutch for our trucks, and nowhere will you find better customer service and technical knowledge..........but there again I am biased lol

if by pull you mean sledpulling don't waste your money on a single disc. it won't last too long. $1500 is a good price for a dual, EEP has them for $1750. i love my haisley clutch and wouldn't buy anything else , but they are also expensive i paid $3500 for clutch, input shaft and install
