I made a small video of my truck with a full quick ratio PSC steering system
Hi guys. I thought you want to see how my truck "handles" with the new PSC quick ratio 3.2 turns lock-to-lock steering system.
I have a full PSC steering system on my truck with the more powerful pump, PSC steering gear, aluminium PSC power steering fluid reservoir and the power steering fluid cooler, Borgeson shaft and the DSS.
I'm still waiting a new steering gear. Same gear than I have now but this one does not have hydraulic ports to the hydraulic ram assist which is still waiting to be installed in to the place of the original steering stabilazer.
Anyway, here's the video.

I like it now much more than before. It's bad when you have grown around the sharp handling european cars, I really can't stand my trucks steering with it's slow ratio and a massive paralysed center section. But now i'ts much more better. I do understand that it's a truck but still. Don't get me wrong, I love it now!
I have some pictures of the steering system components as well:
http://kuvablogi.com/nayta/1213677/ The cooler
http://kuvablogi.com/nayta/1189967/ The cooler before it was attached to the frame little higher.
http://kuvablogi.com/nayta/1189966/ the power steering fluid reservoir. It was really a pain to get it fit there.
http://kuvablogi.com/nayta/1189965/ the whole view.
ps: I'm going to wash and clean my engine compartment in a few months when I'll got my twins, head studs, injectors etc.
Comments, questions and thoughts are greatly appriciated.

Thanks!
It's about 1.4-1.45 euros per liter, so that's about 8.37-8.67 usd per gallon. Some local truck companies are going out of business because of the quick rise of fuel costs.
It seems that the most expensive diesel can be found in the north Finland. It's 1.58 euros. So that's 9.44 usd per gallon. And the most expensive regular gas is from the northest Finland as well. That's 1.67 euros per liter/ 9.99 usd per gallon. The premium is 1.7 euros per liter / 10.16 usd per gallon.
That's why I'm getting that ported steering gear for the ram assist, my steering sometimes gets stuck when I'm braking and turning on tight spots.

The entire setup was about 1300 bucks from http://www.pscmotorsports.com/sk505-...ine-p-146.html
I bought the borgeson shaft, cooler and the DSS at the same time too.

I am thinking of starting with just the shaft, but I would like to do the entire setup. There is no middle countersteer in your vid at all!
That makes me think that the main POS is the steering box. I was looking at the PSC box before. I think I might eventually do it.
Thanks!

There's allways a little middle countersteer, but that's remarkebly smaller than stock, And when it's start to turn, it turns allmost twice as fast than with the stock steering because you don't have that 2 extra turns. I can really recommend that steering system, IF you can get all the right parts, please, be very, very, VERY accurate that what do you want when you order your parts!
