So after switching out my 3k gsk for a 4k gsk the truck ran correctly for about 5 miles down the road, then it acted like the accelerator linkage was stuck in the floored position so I turned it off and now it wont start. It turns over and acts like it wants to start but never does, I wrote down the measurement of amount of threads that was showing and I'm going to check and see if the nuts just came loose or what. I heard from talking to friends that I might need the studs replaced where the nuts tighten down when replacing gov springs. , I'm looking for others who have had some experience with injection pumps acting up after installing 4k gsk.

 

I doubt your no start has anything to do with the ask. check your start/stop solenoid as sometimes it binds due to moving it out of the way when doing the ask install. Check to see if it is pulling all the way up once you bump the starter and leave key to the on position.
