I think you shoud just get the truck where you are happy with the performance and be done with it. Let the guys in the big boy stuff like 10 sec ect handle the cummins reputation. That is just my .02$
lol, the way you said that last sentence just made me laugh for some reason....."just let those other guys that run 10's handle the cummins reputation"

I didn't say I NEVER will crank the box up a level (in fact I put 'er on 5 for the first time on Thursday to "Smoke" a clown who decided to give me a rough time about my choice of parking spaces
I just keep it on a lower setting and try to be more tolerant the "Mine's bigger than Yours" drivers when there's no point & no $$$ on the line.

BTW, I ride my Harley to work whenever possible to save Diesel fuel.
(I don't & won't own a "car")
I figure if I'm going to try to save dead dinosaurs & dead presidents, I might as well enjoy it.

you shouldn't feel bad about getting passed by a newer Powerstroke.... you're not even using your full DTT to it's capability. That Edge Comp, some Mach 4's and a turbo upgrade will leave that 'stroker' wondering what is going on.... .

IMO you should've just order the remote for the TST. It would have made it a TST PM3 and only cost you $100.00. The money you would have saved you could've bought some bigger sticks. For another $50.00 you could have sent your PM1 to TST and they would have made it a TST comp. If I remember right its 180 RWHP on level 9. Just a couple thoughts.

I think Apache was right.
Has anyone ever been to an all Volkswagon drag event. About every 3rd or 4th race, one will blow its guts out.
I think that Powerstroke is just waiting to blow give it a little time and you might get to see him on his cell, looking for a tow truck.

Just wondering about this, I don't know the answer. Will the later pumps take the strain of more fule from the bigger box without the larger injectors to support the added flow?
Injectors will do nothing to change how the VP reacts to a fueling box and certainly won't affect the reliability of the pump either way.......it doesn't matter if the injector is large or small, the pop-off pressures should be the same or similar. Pop-off pressure determines injector pressure. The additional fueling the box provides comes from some increased advance and added fueling duration.

FWIW, a set of Mach 4's would net a HUGE power gain over swapping out the TST for the Comp.

I called TST about getting box upgraded, but it was not able. Installed Comp last night, and it is running like a freight train. Smokin like a chimney, and it pulls hard when you drop the loud pedal. What a difference. Has anyone dyno'ed a combo like mine? Just wonderin what type of torque she is laying down now? Waiting to load up a big trailer and let 'er have at it. Ought to be fun!

A Comp and RV275's is a popular combo.......should net you 350-375 RWHP and 750-800 ft/bs easily with the Comp on kill......maybe a tad more if evrything is just right. You will probably find that you will have to turn the Comp down some when towing with the stock turbo.
