I finally got a Smarty!!!!

So, stock ctd, except for exhaust & air intake. Automatic. I wanna do a j hook or turn buckle to increase boost, do i need to pull the turbo off? Or can I do it still on the motor?
I've got it on #7 right now, any suggestions otherwise? I don't pull often, just looking for better mpg, and more torque/ passing power.
Next mod will be injectors. Im thinking DDP 100hp.
Goodbye Superchips!!!!

You probably need to do something about your trans.

i have a j hook on mine and you don't have to pull the turbo to install it it kinda sucks to get to cause its on the bottom but easy enough to install with turbo on truck. Also i would suggest upgrading turbo with bigger injectors too thats where i am at i wanna upgrade my turbo with just my edge on level 5 the egts can get hot on a hot day. I wanna do 100hp injectors too but i am waiting to upgrade turbo first. the hy35 is not the best turbo to have with a programmer and injectors too much fuel.

I had the trans built a year ago. Billet tq conv, line pressure kit, valve body, buncha stuff. Bout 3500 bucks. Ordered the TST j-hook today. Going on days off, so I'm stoked to get it installed! Trading my superchip to a buddy for his Herd bumper. Good deal I think.

So i got a chance to play with the Smarty. Im digging #7 with tq, timing, duration on the default settings. Can't wait to get home & install the j-hook!
How hard is it to pull the turbo? I was looking at the tst site and theres a review that the guy claims it took him 30 minutes to install. Im open to suggestions. Work smarter, not harder n all...
