I did something stupid the other day!!!

So after I finished the leveling kit up on Friday night I went back to the office on Saturday to clean up and decide to change the FASS filters and the oil as well.

I went with a buddy to Nashville in his 04.5 from Monday until yesterday morning and I did almost all the driving with next to no sleep so my truck only drove the 5 minutes from the office home since I changed the oil.

I have an issue right now that I suspect to be a bad map sensor so I'm trying to gain easier access to it. In this process I remove the factory fuel filter canister and the old lift pump along with their respective brackets. What a difference.

Anyway, back to the point. I recalled that I put four gallons of oil in when I changed oil. For me this is a simple mistake as all four of my Sterling service trucks have ISB's with four gallon capacity.

Just thought you guys would get a good laugh from this one. No harm done. It's nice to have the fingertouch drain valve if you pull one like I did. I just rolled under with one of my empty jugs and filled it up, got r done!

I'm jealous-- *I* seem to do stupid things so frequently that it's not worth posting about; I couldn't keep up if I did that!

Are you reffering to the Fumoto drain valve? One of my best additions yet.

4 Gallons would be 5 extra quarts.

But, I didn't have to mess with shipping. Just a 10 minute drive across town right before the oil change.

Ya know, I looked at the pan on one of the service trucks and just by eyeballing it it is the same depth as the Dodge. I wonder why the service trucks take 4 gallons and not 3? I'll have to roll under each with the tape measeure to confirm, but that's just weird.

mkubacak, that's the one. I've had it for so long I don't remember what I paid for it.
