hybrid turbo

i have a 95 cummins and i want to know if i will see much increase in making my turbo a hybrid because right now it is all stock and i am hitting 42# so i need something with more air but cheap is nice so i thought about making it a hybrid what do you guys think and will you let me know what gains i can expect and boost gains also?

Stock and hitting 42 pounds of boost?!?!?! something aint right!! if thats the stock turbo, you need to take it down to about 38 psi (most effecient here) and add fuel! if your not going to add fuel, then take it back down to 20 psi or so. All that boost on a stocker is pointless. All you'll accomplish is gernading your turbo and possibly ruining your motor!

that did not answer my question i already know i am overboosting my turbo that is why i want to upgrade and the only way to over boost that much is with a ton of fuel so obviously i already have fuel can someone please try and answer my question thanks

Now, what are your egts? and a hybrid is a waste of money IMO because you'll out grow it way to quick

no i meant my turbo was stock my truck has 191 dv 370s starwheel all the way up no fuel plate homemade intake 5" exhaust and some other things i can peg my egts on my 1500 degree guage so could i get a 64 wheel with my stock turbo or something what would you guys reccomend for my cuz i dont mind lag i just need more air and i dont have the money for twins yet so let me know what you think on a single turbo and what kind of boost and hp gains i can see with a certain single thanks again
