I'm sure it had the timing bumped...you can't make any HP with stock timing!

But those F1 370's have made 800hp with the right combo behind them

Only 6mm...what year truck??

Heck, I was at 6.3mm on the 95 when I made 402, and it's back at 6.6mm now

The truck is a 1997, 5 speed. The truck runs well.... Bumping the timing high isn't always best. If you have lots of fuel or run really high rpm then bumping it will help. Running high rpm on sane street trucks normally only hurts the low end performance with little to no gain on the top end.

I know...I've ridden in Brandon's truck

After I posted I looked up the timing charts, and I kinda figured it was a 215 pumped truck, so 6mm is getting up there a lttle ways...about 18* or so right??

I'll bet that SPS62 spools GREAT with that much fuel behind it Not that they're slow anyhow

Anybody?

Considering the price difference I should hope so. In what ways did you like the 62 better?

For the person asking about the bov! Ive ran a bd version, yes it helped, but still had a bad bark. They sound cool, but it wont save the turbo under very high conditions. Theres to many factors, if your drag racing and let all the way it , its okay, but if you dont come all the way out and it dosent hit its just as bad. i dont know how the new apps system works so it might be better

while we are doing comparisons here, hows the SPS62 vs the Quick Diesel 64? I dont think I am at 500+ with my 64 yet, but then again its hard to tell with the head on the bench.

The SPS62 will flow a lower volume of air then the QD64. A better comparision would be to the SPS64.

ok, so hows the SPS64 compare to the QD64? Are they about the same turbo? I was told that II has put a lot more time and research into the SPS series.

That's a big can of worms and a long discussion.

How are the BD super B singles? They arent badly priced, and look like a good turbo for the money.
