hx40 v-band
I installed the v-band that came with my down pipe and it doesnt seem to fit correctly. It appears to be too narrow. It looks like it would be wide enough to join 2 pipe flanges together, but the exhaust housing on the turbo is much thicker then the flange on the pipe. Is there a wider v-band? Does anyone know where to get one?

in my case it wasnt the V band it was the angle of the down pipe.. u have to have the clamp going to the rest of the exhaust a little loose so u can wiggle the down pipe around to get it to the right angle and then it fits perfect and then just tighten down the bottom clam and ur done.

no, not in my cast...i even took the back og the turbo off and tried assembling it on the bench and couldnt get it to work....I mean its on there, but doesnt seem like a good fit. I think the clamp is too narrow
