Anyone have any ifo on the super-52?, my holset rep seems to think those things are cold, all he told me was the they are for off road use only and require serious engine mods to run. he could not give me any spec as to the turbo, I quess it is secret.

HX-40's have a less than good reputation overall....and I don't think it's enough air for your set up anyway!
The HX-50 will move 20% more air than an HX-40.
If you can't get the HX-50 with a 14cm2 turbine housing...I would not do it. JMO, but I don't think you would like anything slower spooling on your automatic, unless you are building strictly a racer/puller.
Why are you only considering these two?

why only 40 and 50
I currently run a super b, which is about like a 40, with my box on the 200hp setting i only hit 1100* if I am really in it and holding. the boost pressure is around 45lbs consistantly and it spools very quick. Talk to Haisley's they will tell you which one to go with for your application. 877-948-3164

Super B...or B-1 (listed in your truck description)?

I can get a super-40 for 795 shipped, man there is just to many turbos out there. So i should just spend the money and go with a HTB-2?
