im running a S400 on the bottom, price was the same as an ht3b and it flows a little more air and is slightly faster on spool up or so the experts say, i did it because of the price was right. Source automotive did my piping, then i took my stock hx35 58mm hybrid tied to a 12cm housing and drilled out the WG a little larger with bigger flapper and so both sides are gated, it hits hard and fast. DP is up a little too much but oh well for now. i can pin 50 psi no problem even with 2 blow off valves if i really lay (when the plate is forward, rght now i have slid the plate back so it pretty much maxes out at 48-50psi and then shes out of fuel) into it i can push 56-58 with the WG and blow offs doing thier jobs whne i get the doh i'll go with a 14 exhaust housing and posrt a few things out along with opening up the WG in it too.

my spool up though is right on with stock & a mild plate combo so i like it alot for around town minimal smoke considering im running lennys stage 4 injectors.

You can tell the size housing by looking just inside the inlet on the exhaust side. Should have a cast number stating the size. The one in my pic is a 26CM/non-divided. Im going to hang on to this one to get a new cartarge for it. Then the twins will happen....unless i can save for some BD's........haha....

So what do you twin guys think about a wh1c/s400 or Ht3b combo with the mods that are in my sig? While I dont really need twins at the point, I have the opportunity to get the big turbo cheap and have access to the piping.

I havent had the opportunity to work with compound turbos but have worked quite a bit with singles (mostly on gas rigs). So is this feasable or would it fall flat on its face due to not a lot of fuel?

Thanks,
Travis

tmacie i would do it if you can get every thing cheap like you are saying . and buy a set of 370s to put in there and you will have what you need for fuel . as long as that trans is in good shape cause if not i will hate you . cuase now you are straping alot more power to it

oh yeah the mods will get bigger and bigger. I was just wondering if twins would have any adverse effect with stock 160 sticks and DVs. I wouldnt figure, but you know these things kinda work around common sense sometimes.

Well lets add this up with a 35 and a 3B with a 26Cm exhaust housing...

a good HT3b can cost you 350-400 dollars if u know where to look
downpipe is about 120 dollars in accordance to RIP
Exhaust flange is 25 dollars
HX35hotpipe is 360 dollars wastegated (ouch) cant that one just be built?
WHich one is the crossover pipe that feeds from the front of the 35 to the side that blows air on the 3b tho? im confused...
and which is the one for the AFE or similar filter?
what about the clamps? that is four minimum at 120 for all of them right?
and what about the rubber deals to connect the pipes? are they all 60 dollars?

ECH.. i need help... can this be done for under 1000 dollars? somehow i dont think so.....

i think the stock 160s would be a bit small. but you could get away with it for alittle while but i would put some 370s or bigger in there .

[QUOTE=Diesel_Dan]Forgot i had this in my Gallery.....

ok today i went searchin for that turbo, i found some BHT3E, what is the diference on that one? to the Bht3b?

i found 1 BHT3B, but it had a divided exhaust entrance, so i found no number (26) on it...
and another question, is the turbo bad, if the eshaust housing is oily from the inside??
