hx35/40 with an auto tranny

I have a 2001 that has a stock HY35. I have a turbo mounted exhaust brake. So I don't have to buy a new EB my only option is a hybrid. SO EVERYONE KNOWS I know and understand the draw backs of a hybrid. My question is with my current mods (signature) which one would be better for a daily driver that tows two to three times a month the 60x12w or 60x14w?

really not much difference the 14 should cool the egts a little and with a auto you wont see much in spool up this is what I noticed with the different turbo housings I ran. my .02 go with the 14cmw

How bad was the lag on the 14 for you? I have gotten some mixed reviews between the 2 with an auto.

Very little as far as I could tell but there was a small amount of help in getting the EGT lower

I have the 12cm on mine, tow about 6-9k lbs weekly and have never seen over 1,250* with my juice on 3. I still hit 1450* on a WOT 1/4 mile run, but for around town I really like the 12cm.

Then again with your 40hp sticks, that might be just enough to make the 14 a better option.

Thanks. I think I will go with the 14cm. I am planning on getting some ddp 110s also. But I want see how well it works first and see how my egts do.

Im in the same boat as you. Cant decide between Mach 1.6 (90) or the DDP 110's though.
The Mach's are supposed to burn real cool for an after market injector, But Im serously thinking about swapping out my hybrid for a 62/65/13ss from HTT so I can run the 110's with no worries.

I read your other post...I'm no expert buy why not try the 1.6 or DDPs w/your current turbo? If things get to hot then you know what you need to do.....send me your hybrid turbo and go get the 62.
