Jamie,

When I first received my PDR40 I was geting about 38-40 psi of boost from it. The wastegate was set this way.
Actually 38PSI is very good for the 40 and taking it to 40 probably wont help ya any with power.

I had mine all over the place from 35 to 45psi and no real power difference was made.

I think you have plenty of fuel, perhaps a bit too much

Don~

Re:HX 40 Boost numbers please
There is a small adjustment period with the 40 from the 35. I was used to driving a 35 with a 16 housing on my truck and when i installed the 40 the power seemed softer and not the kick in the pants in the low rpm ranges like the 35 was.
After some driving time I got used to the 40's slightly more lag time. The dyno and the hard street driving told another story the seat of the pants meter could not. The 40 makes more power, even though some of us may not feel it dow low.

The next logical step was to graduate from the community college of HX40 and go to the University of HX55. Now we are talking a real education The Powerstrokes and even the occasional Mustang GT get schooled when I hit the streets after dark

Don~

I already know what I will be using for Weekend Warrior Injectors (they looked really cool)....but only after I save up for a spare VP44 and a Fueling Box.

Re:HX 40 Boost numbers please
Cliff,
I really enjoyed my PDR40 as well. It was a great turbo for my truck. Alot of guys dont remember I was the 3rd guy to have one after Piers brought them out. The only reason I was 3rd was because Dee got one first, he always does that :'(
I dont have any experience with the Blue Chip boxes.
A spare VP44? Grab a P pump instead!

Re:HX 40 Boost numbers please
Jamie I put the PDR HX40 on a month ago I really do like it over the HX35. I got 45 lbs of boost with the 35 and DDII's. Now I get 42 lbs boost with the PDR HX40 and BD-V's. OverFueled
