Who's running an hx 40 on a 12 valve?? How do you like it? Pro's con's?? Will it cool my truck with my fuel what kind of power will it make on my truck? Yea I no it's not the best choice but my wallet is empty and my engine is HOTTT at this time I need an econimy turbo and everything I look at is at least a grand or better used, that is unless somone has somthing better than a 40 at a reasonable price??

other than the weak shafts they run pretty good. it will work better than your stocker thats for sure. i know of one truck that has taken a beating running the hx40 and still runs darn good.

You could have HTT upgrade your existing turbo or find a s300 for less than most aftermarket turbos if you want to explore some other alternatives.

If I could find somthing fairly cheap I would do so but I think the 40 will move more air than a hybrid would anyway. I just have to be carfull not to bark it,at least thats what I here....

McMopar is running a 40 on his 12 valve. He's got John_P's old Schied built pump, with water he runs a 12.8......
