htb2 62/14 few questions for other users
im running slightly high egts.
First the setup
#10 plate little over 1/2 forward with gov arm adjusted
was running 370 injectors put 215's back in to see if that wiuld lower the egts
16.5* timing on a 215 pump manual tranny
scotty with hole
pretty straight forward. my egts are throught he roof by 26-30 psi 1300-1400 and the WG appears to open at 35psi because even with the 370's she wouldnt get much over 35-37psi. she'll wack 35 no problem and within 5 seconds of WOT she's at 1300-1400 so spool up doesnt seem to be an issue especially from 1800-2400.
wondering if a 12cm might have been more up my alley, problem is i tow alot and previously on this truck had a 60mm/16cm hx35 on this truck and it worked pretty well but still had egt issues
im wondering if by going back to the 215's i have taken too much fuel out of the mid range fueling and thus the turbo isnt lighting up.
more later just thought i might throw it out there to the sharks to suggest a few things

Well from what I have discovered changing from a 14 to a 12 will hurt your top end EGT's unless your running twins.
I have a 12 mainly because I want performance while towing the Jeep. It does however cause some high EGT's when racing around town or just even pushing the smoke lever to the floor, I can hit 1500 deg by the end of the on ramp and just as easy from 60 mph to 90+ it will be @ 45+ on boost but high EGT's.
When towing I have to keep the Comp in EZ mode to keep the EGT's down.
