HT3B 26cm exhaust housing?

I'm building a set of budget twins and picked up a used HT3B for cheap from an NTA 855 cummins. I think it has a 32cm turbine housing. It is marked:

3519351 HOLSET
32-41050

I have heard the 32 is ok for competition only. I am fairly sure that I need a 26 cm housing. I have a HTT Hybrid WH1C14 STAGE IV for a top turbo. Would someone out there be kind enough to post the numbers for the 26? Or does somebody have one?

You should be able to tell the size of the housing by looking at the inlet, there it should be stamped into it either "26", "32" etc. etc. I know that "Thekidfan" posted an add in the classifieds for a 23 and 26... You may want to check that out...

The problem IMO with a 22 or 23 housing is your run out of air on the top end. It would be great for towing.

Yes but he is putting them on a first gen 12v, i doubt the rotary pump will flow enough fuel to outflow the 22 or 23 housing. If it were a 24v i would say a 26 would be great but the 12v flows a little less so the 22 or 23 would help a little. I think twinturbopilot's hx-35/ht-66 doesnt get above 11 or 1200* with 496hp and has a nice spool with the smaller housing. If he were going to be pushing more than 550hp is when i'd start considering the 26 housing

I know about the 22/23 cm housings but since I'll be pulling sleds on occasion I have always tried to build turbos that give up a hair of spool speed for cooler air on top end.

Sorry but I don't take well to bashing first gens, the pump got a bad rap but times are a changing. Besides, I started with a truck with 160/400 and with the very limited selection of aftermarket parts it makes for quite the challenge.

Sure about how much fuel I have? I don't wan't to have to chase down another housing if I am getting hot on the 23. Plus I'm going EDMs in the spring with a custom fuel supply system. This thing will run with cranked up third gens at the pulls. I can hold my own. It ain't no p7100 but it thinks it is at 4000 rpm. I drove it stock with a 21 on the H1C for a year, some how I could spool that monster. So a 23, although on a larger turbo doesn't sound that big. The little HT3B housings are supposed to be expensive anyway. I am checking in to the classified so that may produce something.

Easy killer! I wasn't bashing you or your first gen, i was simply saying that because of the flow characteristics of the 12v the 22 or 23 housing would probably make a better driver, especially with a 5spd. And i was wrong to assume you wouldnt flow that much fuel, and im happy for you that you can.

Sorry guys, didn't mean to come across like I'm the king of the world . I know there are hotter trucks out there and enjoy meeting the owners. We are all in the same boat and hopefully someday I can return the favor or pass it along.

RHARVEYSR is there a way you could get me the holset numbers cast on the of that 26 housing so I can verify what I'm looking at when I find it? I wouldn't mind having the numbers for the 22/23 as well. We should probably be working to build a accessible database of the numbers/upgrades anyway for all the turbos.

If somebody needs this 32 (I think) I'll probably let it go soon. I don't know if they're hard to find but from what I see there are plenty of 36cm housings in the classifieds.

Thank you so much.

Now about the 26, anybody got the cast numbers for that?

You guys seriously think the 22 is the way to go, I just want to make sure the 6x16 edms don't get things too toasty. I do want it to light the second turbo in timely fashion as well.

Imo your going to be better off with 26. 12's run hotter than 24's. If you're looking for top end power the 26 is the only way to go.

Well holset of all people gave me some #'s today and to be nice I figured I'd share the information from them and what you have. If anyone can add to the list feel free:

HOLSET HT3B EXHAUST HOUSINGS

3519351 32cm DEVIDED
3519353 27cm ?
2521838 22cm ?

Now for the shocker, there are garrett, holset, and schwitzer HT3B's . I am working on finding out if any parts swap as they all have similar characteristics!
