This is from the TDR ( posted by GO 4LO) It may help you some. I don't think these numbers are corrected. SO in a perfect world, this is what they should flow.

HX40______800________560_________440
T66_______800________560 _________440

What is the difference between Racing HP and Daily HP. I was under the impression that a turbo could supply the air requirements based on the amount of air it could flow within its map not what day of the week it was. Scott

GO4LO's numbers are very close.

The "Race" HP is all the HP you can tune from teh Turbo, EGT's be damned.

The "Daily" HP is similar to what you could use to tow with, keep EGT's down, or just what you could expect with just bolting that turbo on without tuning....

Example,, The HX-35 at 330RWHP is just fine for towing,, it might need a 14cm exh housing, but ANYBODY can get 330RWHP with an HX-35. With some tuning you can keep EGT's below 1250...

On the other hand,, 420RWHP from an HX-35 will require a substantial amount of tuning, and will probably have extremely high EGT's.

You could say Daily HP = Raw HP, and Race HP = Tuned HP.

Those numbers are not all correct.

Be careful when selecting a turbo from the chart above.

I would say above the HT3B area the numbers would be merely calculated.

For the Smaller turbo's,, the HP#'s looked pretty accurate.

I would *think* that the HP #'s are what the turbo is capable,, not "If you are at xx HP use xx turbo".

Of course I'd love to see 2030HP.......

Will an HT 60 bolt up directly or does it have to have an adapter.

An HT60 will not bolt up. An adapter plate has to be made. I tried one about three weeks ago with a 22cm housing. At about 4300 rpm, it still would not build any boost. I however was not running an intercooler and that was hurting the spoolup. I have not tried it again since re-installing the cooler. Keep in mind that this is bigger than an HT3B and is only suitable for twins unless you have about 5000 rpm and the truck is a pull only truck. SS

Can you tell us which ones are incorrect and give us the correct cfm numbers for them? Some of them I found dual numbers for between posts on here, posts on TDR, and internet sites. Holset rates their turbos by mass moved instead of volume moved, and if you use a density of 1.29 kg/m^3 for air, the cfm's end up being calculated as:

755 cfm for the HX35
870 for the HX40
1232 for the HX50
1560 for the HX60
2464 for the HX82

I used the more conservative CFM numbers for the common 35 and 40, since there seemed to be a lot of data on TDR and DTR to support those numbers.
As I posted on TDR, these are compiled from posts by various members and from different websites on the net and are not in any way guaranteed to be correct. If you can add or correct anything, by all means please do.

SS the HT 60 you have must be bigger than the one that I seen on Columbus Diesel web site it says it has a 3in inlet, an HT3b is a 5in inlet isnt it.

I believe that both have a wheel inlet size of about 3" but the diameter wher the filter connects is 5". Similar to the HX35 having a 2.?? wheel inlet size and having a 4" diameter wher the filter mounts up. I believe the the HX/HT60s are slightly larger than an HT3B in actual wheel size.
