HP VP44 hot rod pump ?

Does anyone know about these?

I have heared rummors of 100HP increase?

I have also heard the 100HP was only with no fueling box and that it was no more HP with a box?

What is different about the hot rod pump and the stock pump?

If you had 600HP would you be able to get close to 700HP with it?

1) 100hp on some trucks but not in higher hp trucks
2) don't know
3) conbination of the larger plungers of the SO pump and the electronics and higher pressure of the HO pump. HRVP's seem to help the HO trucks more than the SO trucks.
4)Absolutely not. 630-650 is max hp from a VP44 powered truck on #2 diesel as I understand it from a knowledgeable source.

Corrected #'s? I'm guessing uncorrected it might be possible.

The hot rod vp can make more power with smaller sticks, but top end power is the same as the so vp44's.

I hit 492 uncorrected using a hot rod pump, smarty, and mach 4's with no fueling box =P

Does the hot rod pump have Larger pistons in it?

if so I assume it can move a higher volume of fuel?

does the pressure increase?

how would you get more pressure from a VP44?

If I am looking for maximum power I should probably quit messing around and just do a tricked out P7100

They combine components from both the HO and SO pump to give you the most power currently available from a VP44.

Yes, if you want all out power and are ok with it not being particularly streetable, the P-pump is the way to go. It takes some tuning from what I understand though.

Mustang or Dynojet? Seems a lot of the Western dyno's are Mustang. Nothing wrong with that, just seems kinda like apples and oranges when you compare dyno #'s. I wish I knew a little better how to equate one to the other a little better.
