HP + Stock Tranny

I was considering putting 80 hp injectors and and edge drag comp in my 24 valve and was wondering if the stock tranny will hold it. Thanks

We really need more info about your truck so go to User CP and fill in your signature.

The quick answer, though, is no. If you keep the Comp on the lower settings you would be fine, but it is unlikely that will happen. One experiment on the higher settings and you will feel the convertor slip. Do yourself a favor and spend your $$$ in the right order... gauges, intake and exhaust, driveline support, then more power.

Your gonna need at least a new valve body. I'm running 100+hp injectors and a comp and my tranny with just a DTT valve body is holding great. I don't tow though.

Not if it's an Automatic! Stock clutch would not be happy either.
