yup, a higher rotation mass to get moving compared to the smaller one, but once it reaches 20psi...hold on because as slow as it can be from 0-20, it is usually very quickly to go from 20-50..

I run the 62ss and I can tell you this if you are used to a stock turbo it will take some time to get the feel of your truck. I not to sure about a 24 valve but I love it on my 12 valve! It's a little warm when shes lugging but once spooled thats when the fun starts.

i have the 62/71/14 and i have only had it on there less than a week and so far i love how much more free flowing the exhaust side is. just driving around town like and average person my engine seems to rev faster and has more power below 10 psi than it did with the stocker. with my mach 4.5s (175 hp) the highest egts i have seen was 1295 and that was at the end of a simulated 1/4 pass at an estimated 101 MPH. thats with my waste gate set to about 38 psi. im wiating for studs before i really let her rip. i think maybe i should have bought bigger injectors. i was maybe considering water/meth but it looks like i wont need it.

Wow mudden what are you using for fueling box's? I don't see any in your sig?My truck seems much hotter than what your describing? I have to believ it is the 370 injectors causing this that and the fact that the p7100 dumps a lot of fuel pre boost, even with the afc back and the plate mid way?

I have the juice with att. and that is a fuel and timing box. yes with my juice set to 5x5 with 38 psi i dont even see 1300. keep in mind here in centeral WI it is winter right now and around 1000' elavation. when i ran the simulated 1/4 it was probably about 35 deg. out. My juice with att. said i did it in 15.5s at 101 mph but my friend that was with me said when i crossed the finish line i was only doin 97 so my time should be less than that. plus i boged it a little (and was only in 2wd) to make sure i didnt spin my tires and throw of the juice with att. The only issues i have right now the way im set up is my chip defuels at 2800 rpm so when i grab the next gear im a little lower in the rpm range to get my turbo to spool as fast as i would like. I either need the hot unlock code or a new box, think quad.

im putting on my II SPS 62/71/14 this weekend...since i have a manual i went with the larger housing (but i reading above im not sure if a 12 exh housing is even a possibility with 71 wheel). after the break-in period i'll report back.

so far its fun to look at while sitting on the floor in my bedroom should be more fun when its on the truck...unfortunately saturday's weather has high's in the teens and low's below zero!!! shouldve bought this in august!!!!!!

Muddin, are your Mach injectors custom built? I didn't realize they made a 4.5. Also, does the "ss" in your sig. when describing the turbo stand for super street, or stainless steel? At first, I thought you had the new stainless exh. housing, but I thought they only make that in a 13 and a 16.

the injectors are kinda custom but not really. I dont think any place stocks the 4.5 they have to be custom ordered but they are the exact same price as the 4s but have 25 hp more fuel . they do sell them every once and a while. yea the SS stands for super street. im pretty sure they dont make a sainless housing in a 14. maybe i should take that out of there so its less confusing.
