Talking How much torque do 100hp injectors add? *UPDATED*

Well, my buddy is trading his '00 CTD truck in on an '04 CTD Quad cab. So I am going to get the 100hp Bullydog injectors out of his and put them in my '99. He told me that he was pretty sure that the stock clutch wouldn't hold up to that much power. So I am looking at clutch options but I need to know approximately how much torque the injectors will add so that I can select a clutch.
What else should I consider when I install these injectors? My truck is a stock '99 CTD/5-speed Quad Cab long bed 4x4. The only things done are a K&N filter, a Holley Blue Pump in series near the tank, and muffler delete. Of course I will be adding gauges and I am thinking about a 4" exhaust system that my friend never got installed on his truck.
What am I forgetting?

Thanks

you will need a boost fooler. 100hp injectors will push the boost past 20psi, therefore creating an overboost code and the truck will defuel. boost fooler takes care of this.

Most 100hp injectors advertise 200 ft-lbs. that clutch may not be too happy, either. Intake and exhaust mods, too. EGT's will get up there.

speaking of the boost fooler...i have DD3 (100-115hp injectors) in my truck but no chip/box with a boost fooler...i can hit up to 35 psi...how can I fix the defuel problem?

can i get a boost fooler without buying a box?

I do have a banks big head wastegate on my stock turbo too

I can't remember the simply formula right off...but for some reason the more complicated formula, using in-lbs, sticks in my head.
Torque (in-lbs) = HP x 63025...divided by RPM.
Using this...true 100 hp injectors (at the rear wheels) will add 263 ft-lbs Torque at 2000 rpm.

Sorry, must have had a senior moment. OBVIOUSLY, formula in ft-lbs would be
Torque = HP x 5252...divided by RPM.

I have the banks big head and I am already seeing 32+ psi...how does this boostfooler work?

is it something different than my banks big head?

there are two requirements for boost increases:
1) mechanical control of the wastegate - big head, turnbuckle, elbow
2) electronic control to 'fool' the ecm because the stock program will defuel at ~20 psi boost.

I have been running Mitchells 100HP injectors now for about a year and a half or better. I haven't had any problems yet. It is a daily driver. I am most likely not seeing all the power that I would with a boost fooler, but I am pretty happy. Almost stock, besides the Scotty II air system. I have the HO which comes with a slightly bigger clutch though. I don't know if your truck will hold as well as mine has or not. I would get a set of gauges for sure if you don't have them. The pyro can get pretty hot with the stock turbo if I hold it down for any length of time.

I have read that stock clutches, 5sp vs. 6sp, that the 6sp is a larger diameter clutch but there is more material on the 5sp. The 5sp will, supposedly, hold more power than the 6sp in the stock form.

Either way, its more dependent on how many miles are on the clutch and what type of miles (daily driving, towing, racing, etc).

Thanks for all the replies guys!

Well, the 100 hp injectors are in. The boost & pyro guages are installed. And I also added a TST Comp box. With the box off I can definately tell a difference over the stock injectors. Not quite the difference I thought it would be but still and improvement. With the box turned on...WOW! Just on level 1 is a major improvement. Last night I skipped up to level 3 and promptly slipped the clutch in 5th gear at 60 mph! I didn't realize that there would be that much more power with just 2 more steps!Whoops!
I am bolting on a 4" exhaust system tommorrow and I think there will be a new/better clutch in my near future!
Okay, I am hooked on bombing!

Jason, The PM3 Comp Box on level 5 is same as non-comp PM3 on #9....that means your getting almost 30 hp per each of first 5 levels! Should be very noticable.

I'm not sure, on an SO motor, what the power increase is after level 5? Don't think it can maintain the same kind of increases? I know the HO's don't show much hp increase past #5.
