How much is this Southbend worth?

Hi yall,

One of the guys I work with has a Southbend single disk clutch that is a couple years old and fits the nv4500 with stock input shaft and it is the stock diameter... I need something to throw in my truck so I can start playing with the pump. I'm not sure what rating it is yet but I think he said its the highest for the stock size single's. I asked him what he wanted for it and he said just make him an offer..He says it wasnt used much and was never abused but has been sitting in his shed for a couple years.. Well what do you guys think I should throw at him?

Thanks for the help
Derek

He's not around right now for me to ask him but I'm guessing that it is the MU 0090 Con. O rated at 400 hp & 900 tq since I didnt see any other stock size clutches on southbends website..He'll be back this afternoon and I can ask him for sure..

Not alot. Used 550hp single disk clutches have sold as low $100 in this sites classifieds and it was in good condition. Not a big market for them

I wouldn't touch that old model used clutch.

Those older 12.25" clutches had a bad problem of tearing the center hub out.
The old 12.25" OFE's were especially bad for that.

Just buy a new one.
