Friend, if your ego to "show a little Honda who'ds boss" outweighs the common sense and good judgement you should have--especially while towing-- then I'd say you have too much power.

Try de-tuning to a level within your self-control......
^^^^^I concur with this guy.

Another thing you can do is make a concrete bed liner to put some wieght on the rear wheels.

I think a SMARTY on level 9 would solve your control problems

When you can punch it from 70mph and go sideways with the boxes set on kill then that's unsafe. I normally run around at around 420hp but if I punch it all it does is set me in the seat and haul. I think it varies between 2 and 4wd because a 4wd will naturally have bigger tires on it than a 2wd and will be less prone to go sideways. That's one of the reasons I went with 35's. I know that it's going to take an extreme amount of power to break them loose from a 70mph roll.

it wasnt a 70mph roll but before i redid the tranny this last time around the truck never felt like this.. it barley even would spin the tires trying when taking off.. i think i just didnt have the power going to the ground or what not and the engine was working hard but the power was being robbed at the tranny and like half of it going to ground.

yea, its awesome that your truck can do that dude, but i agree that too much power is bad in a DD. but thankfully 24v can easily have the boxes turned down to a safe daily HP.

brag all you want tho man, you built the truck, you put your money and time in it, you got it to this point, have fun with it, just do it at the track, and not on the street. you have to remember that 99% of the guys on this board were born as old men and they never had fun, played around, or made an un-wise decision as a young fellow because they are perfect on the internet.

Storx,

Maybe my truck will be able to do that one day. I was super geeked the other day when my truck chirped the tires going into 4th, I don't know what I would do if it went sideways in 4th . I think that if you can control that too much power is never enough only if it controllable by the driver. So that may mean 200hp for some 750hp for others.

just like the other post, most guys didnt apriciate how you stated you almost caused a few accidents with your craazy power,on the track or quiet roads your truck sounds like a lot of fun,if you started your post with how easy it is to break your tires loose but left out the near accident stuff you wouldnt have got any bad replys, your truck sounds wicked though, just keep her in a straight line

I think i's more likely that we fuddy-duddy types are just trying keep someone from having learn the painful and often costly lessons that we had to. Why not avoid the hardship by learning from others?

Nah, never too much....

Just try to be polite as possible on the street and only UNLEASH your aggressions on a track or offroad.
