how much HP without billet shaft for tranny

if your going to do it do it right you dont wanna be stuck with your 9k camper, get the billet shaft & a aftermarket flexplate those are the weak points to our trannys

Where is a good place to get a good input shaft for a fair price. You guys have talked me into it. Why go this far and take that chance. Do it right the first time.

I broke my stock output the same day I dynoed 471hp and 998 lbs and that was 4 years ago. But I did it on a 10 pound 4X4 launch. I've been running a billet input and output with a stock intermediate and stock flexplate ever since. And I have lots of 1.6 to mid 1.7 60 foot time launches at the track. The only breakage since was a stock 4 pinion planetary and that was also on the dyno. It has now been upgraded as well. If your not going to race I would at the minimum install the billet input shaft.
