I love my Goerend converter. Really made my truck a LOT more driveable. Even pulling a load, if you arent trying to get to speed really fast, then there is no need to go over 2k rpm's. The stall is awesome compared to stock. Saving up for a full Goerend VB next so I can get this transgo out, and really have a good shifting tranny then Plus I need the extra pressure since I have the single disc. Only way I could be more happy is If I could have afforded a Triple disc converter. Anything is better than the stock converter though. I have about $700 in my tranny total, but it made the truck a whole different beast

Flippenfred, thanks for the kind words of my great state!lol, other then its colder then a witches snip right now!, I know how easy it is for me to say I would only go with Dave on his tranny as I am only 40 minutes away from his shop and I go down there and bug him enough, that my truck knows its own way down there!, but If I lived in CA or Mexico, I wouldn't hesitate to have him do my tranny, just by talking to him and hearing what his his opinions regarding what was best for me in the HP range I want to run and the way I use my truck. definitly top notch!, anybody needing help to contact Dave Goerend, pm me and We will get you set up!
