How much difference..really???
I am considering ordering the Scotty 2 air system and was wondering how much difference there is betwwen the two inlets or the Hushhh inlet as far as noise go's?
Is it just a little noticeable or is there a drastic difference in sound from inside the cab?

it does makes a difference
i think it just depends on - if you like the way a turbo sounds?
i love it with the cowl cut, the turbo can be heard from out side the truck
just fold back the insulations, dont cut it, then when your towing move it outof the way

There is a difference.
When not in the Hush mode it sounds like there is a Hoover in the glove box.
One man's noise is anothers music.
With the Scotty you can always go to hush mode which cuts the added sound of the Scotty closer to stock.
As Big Blue said "it will let you know it is there".

I can't really hear it over the tire hum.....
Then again, today I was bucking a 30 MPH head wind coming out of Palm Springs. Ran about 25 lbs of boost and +/- 1000* at 70 mph. The turbo was trying to sing me to sleep.

Hey CALLS, go ahead & order it. I noticed about 125 degree drop in egt's, & I haven't cut the hole. It is better than my stock air box with a K&N FILTER. You could always cut the hole & fix you a flap to cover it up when not needed. If you cut the hole, do it with a 4.5 inch hole saw. Jig saws make a mess.
