how much boost for a 230/605 setup?

I also have the "small" 160hp pump and can deliver enough fuel to make it look like midnight behind my truck if I choose, so, the fact that it is a 94 160hp pump is really not a factor when it comes to getting enough fuel for this application. If you dare to move that #10 forward, you will see alot more fuel. Remember, fuel is boost. The more fuel you deliver, the more boost you will get. If you have an air leak, the truck is usually very smokey and underpowered. 18-20 psi is what to expect with a stock plate for a 94. Sharpmachine, as you are already aware, this is a very powerful plate that WILL fry that stock tranny if it is moved too far forward. But I think you can reach a happy medium if you are willing to experiment with it a bit.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I hope that CTD NUT is right, because that was my hunch and I gotta crank some more power out soon to spank all the ferds around my area. Gotta make up my mind on a converter, turn up the fuel and see what happens...
