thanks rick, i will just have to keep messing with it. how should the governor arm be adjusted and how do you adjust it? i have never messed with that. and BOX5- my boost is 48-50 psi and my tranny is in great shape

You shouldnt have to worry about adjusting the governor arm if you have 0 plate, unless it is actually going underneath the plate.

Ive got 215 pump and injectors with a # 10 plate, I hit 310 hp at 48 lbs boost on an hx35 ( why Im doin a head Gasket job also ). I think with your setup you should be seeing higher numbers. good luck to gettin to your 500 goal

well my governor arm is hitting the plate so i guess that rules out the governor arm. i messed with the last yesterday for a ouple hours moving the plate and adjusting afc and still havent got it to run any stronger
