Big sticks, plate of your choice, 66 turbo (or twins), 18*+ timing
PM some of the guys that have done it. It's easier to say than do(Txdiesel007, Satburn, Ratsun, we have others that I can't think of off the top of my head)
DVs add a lot of heat for the power they give you.

A HX40 class or larger turbo.
A 180 or 215 pump timed to 19 degrees
Stock 181 DV's
A #10 plate
Hot Rod 370's
This always makes at least 500. Oftentimes more. The newer 62, 64 and 66 turbos will take that higher than 500 with ease.

is the man for this thing.... but here is how i did it and perhaps with a bit of overkill... im just a lil over as we speak...
181 dvs
Rips twins 35/14 over an S400
Dragon Fly injectors
16.5 timing
100 plate almost full forward
AFC worked for rack travel and 1/2 back
4K springs...
That should get her done, with tuning and timing this thing should be closer to 550 or so...

do the basics if u haven't lately like fuel and pre filter and air filter. Then check the gov arm position on the plate. Whate boost are u seeing? And is ur trans in good shape?

agreed its all in the tuning
agian friend we are one in the same, find a dyno and someone who knows what they are doin to help you out.. its what im gonna do next... since i know i need more timing.. my governer arm might need adjustment, and plate and afc will too.. but its all a process...
Your best bet is to find that sweetspot that when u hit the throttle it does not bog down the truck because you have so much fuel going to it. That alone will kill your dyno run and not allow your charger to light to its fullest potential. IE as far as i know you should have some boost, at least 10-15 psi by the time you hit 1500 rpms cause tahts when the dyno run should start, and the fuel should come on smooth from there and hit hard... All of this is plate positioning, afc positioning, timing, governer arm adjustment, fuel and turbo tuning.. get these all workin in perfect harmony and you have you a winner....
I learned the hard way that too much fuel and full forward everything is cool for smoke but sucks for makin power.... hence my dyno in buddah texas of 429 rwhp or so and only 800 ft lbs.. if you light the chargers early enough the tq and power will rise.... dramatically..... so ive learned from reading on here.... anywyas
I myself need help with timing.... ive never done it, so i want to have smoene that knows how help me out....
