How to Lower Idle 180 P Pump
Ok how do you lower the idle on the 180 P-Pump. It idles at around 1000 in park and around 800 in drive. It should be around 750-800 in both right?

Nope, putting it in gear puts a load on the engine, and without extra fuel, it will pull the rpms down. IIRC, idle is supposed to be 750-800 in drive with the AC on. Since its 800 in drive already, I'd leave it.
But if you want to change it, look just behind the throttle lever on the pump. There is a small bolt with a 10mm head. There will be a jam nut (most likely on the bottom), loosen that first, and make your adjustments. The bolt head may have a depression in it, so if you turn it down a bit and the idle actually goes up, don't be totally surprised. Since it is supposed to be done in drive, a helper would be handy, keep on the brake and tell you what rpm you're at instead of changing it, getting in and putting it in drive then back and changing it again.
