How long does it take an organic/feramic disc to wear in?
Exactly what the title says. My OFE got installed last night, I was told to take it easy for the first couple hundred miles, but just had to play tonight. It held fine while running the trucks through it's paces, but when I got home I had the faint smell of burning clutch. I wasn't too hard on it, just wound the truck out in each gear, seeing as I haven't been able to do it in a couple weeks. Did I damage anything? Or just a new clutch disc getting broke in? Thanks.
I could also smell burning tires, it will now light the tires when wide open going through 3rd.

I don't know how the organic plays out, but my FE took a good 3-4 weeks to settle down and fully seat.
I never was hard on it, though, and never had any funky smells.
Holds like a pit bull now.

I have a Ceramic and I gave it a full tank (600 miles) of easy driving before I got into hard even once... Except the first time I drove it I got into it one time in 4th... You didn't hurt the clutch IMO just drive easy the rest of the way...

Ok, I was hoping nothing happened to it, might have just gotten over worried about it. I will take it easy through this tank and see how it goes after that. My B-1, HTT manifold, and New Era sticks are all on their way as I type this, I don't need to smoke it now before getting all that stuff.
