how to hook up 4x4 linkage after 6spd. conversion

well I got most of my 5 to 6spd. swap finished up yesterday, but I don't know how I'm gonna get the 4x4 linkage to work??? my old linkage bolted to the side of the 5 spd. tranny, but there's no place for it to bolt on the 6 spd.??? I've searched & the only thing I can find about it is that you have to lengthen the rod, but how do I bolt up the linkage itself???? thanks, Dusty

yeah I don't think my piece of crap 5 spd. could've handled the power of a ricer I should be able to drive more than 2 or 3 months this go round w/out the tranny blowin up in one way or another, ( at least I hope so ) the install was pretty straight forward, other than this shifter linkage, but should have that figured out soon, I'd definatly recomend the 6 spd, the DD clutch on the other hand, well I guess knowing it's gonna hold when I mash the go pedal is worth the chattering & the awful pedal pressure, just didn't expect quite this much noise, but otherwise seems like a good setup, Dusty

sent you a pm

Went a looked and took pics. The middle part of the rod has been lengthened about 10''-12'' so the ends remain the same for the connections and adjustments.
