IF you scroll WAY down this page then you'll see some discussion on Fire-Rings. They are the way to go at the moment, but this stuff is changing at such a fast pace that it might change in 2 months, if it hasn't already.

Haisleys head studs and fire rings. Good for 100psi. especially if you get the 14mm studs . The Copper head gaskets arent too streetable and they are very finnacy (tend to leak water).

It would be my opinion and one of others that going past 80psi on 12mm studs is starting to really push your luck. I would goto 14mm studs on anything over 80psi, if not 75psi. You're running the risk of ripping those 12's out. FWIW.

I'll have to agree here, I'm pushing my 12mm's to the edge also but no issues yet, on my new short block I'll have 14mm's but still run the same head.

Captain Insane O: When you go with fire rings you get a supplied head gasket with the fire rings CNC machined out and replace them with a mild steel fire ring. No need for another head gasket .
LanceD: Your head (and sometimes block) will have to have grooves cut in them for the fire rings. To be able to fit the 14mm studs all your exsisting holes will have to be drilled and tapped in your block.
