How fast does the DT track bar wear out?
I put a DTT on almost 2 years ago and it has been just fine except last spring the bushing went bad, and now on my way back down to college I got death wobble again and can hear it clunking away under there. Does anyone know where to get just the bushings? I called DT and he said they don't sell just the bushings and he wouldn't tell me if anything else would work. $45 for the rebuild kit is going to get expensive every 8 months or so! How long have your bars been lasting?

That's crazy Blue !!! Lifted truck or stock, for the $$$ spent on a DT bar, you shouldn't have to put any money into it for at least a year or two.
Man I'm glad I didn't drop the coin on one yet. I wonder how the Thuren bar is working out for those that have it.
Well when the time comes, I'll probably do as JKM did.

What am I doing differently that's causing my DT bar to last so long?
The only looseness I ever had was the bracket on the frame. Some loctite Red and breaker bar and it's tight and has stayed that way.

hmmm, maybe I'll have to check the bracket. It's something on the frame end this time that's giving me some slop.

How about a Luke's Link? I got one for my track bar. Haven't installed it yet but it only cost $85 or so and I've heard nothing but good stuff about it. Not sure how well it responds to a 5" lift though, which I am planning on getting soon...

I have the 03TBK and no trouble over 1 year and 45,000 Km... No death wobble or "worn bushings" as other stated I would have by now. Also the bracket hasn't been an issue with getting loose or causing frame cracks. I do offroad driving on gravel and soft soils, not extreme by any standard, but not just highway either.
