how do I get a bhaf???
I would like a bhaf because I've heard that the bhaf ups the power, makes the turbo louder and also because my stock intake is a little screwed up. I went to NAPA and asked for a cotton air filter and they said they had lots but I needed a number. Didn't know a number so they offered me a k&N for the low price of almost $400. Don't want that, I want a bhaf. So if I could get a number I wiould buy one. Also, is it cheaper than the stocker in the long run and how do you replace the element? Also, are they hard to install and can they get water in them? Looking forward to some help thanks.
1994 4x4 5spd std cab, pyro and boost, fuel plate had nasty run in with my bench grinder then went full forward and took afc housing with it then maxed out the star wheel, strait piped it, and removed the silencer ring!!

Fleetguard AH19037
NAPA 2790
WIX 42790
Donaldson B105006
Baldwin PA2820
Hastings AF1012
AFE 20-40044
Carquest 87790

Big A 93790
Caterpillar 3i0005

Should be able to score some of them at basic autoparts stores, others you might have to find a big rig parts house.

The other option is to step up to a Scotty Air.
There is nothing wrong with the BHAF, I ran one for a few years. If I had to do it all over again, I would just go straight to a Scotty and bypass the BHAF all together.
The Scotty will make your turbo sing a very pretty song.
Just my opinion, thought I'd throw in my 2 cents, that's all.
