How do I DeTune (abit) to SAVE my Clutch ??
I think I may need to DETUNE my truck (just a bit) to SAVE on my clutch wear.
Just had a guy move the AFC full forward and block off the Waste gate. The mid-range Torque is UNREAL now!
Unfortunately, my clutch doesn't think this is too funny! I can control the slippage by easing back on the loud pedal, but what FUN is that ??
The only time it really slips bad is when I'm cruising down the highway (65-70MPH) and then I PUNCH the pedal.
A new clutch is in the planning stages ($$$), but in the meantime, I'd like to take some muscle (Torque) back out of the engine to SAVE on what's left of my clutch.
Should I simple slid the AFC back towards the firewall a tad or what ???

Roger that. That's what I've resorted to.
It's a difficult transition when you're going for Maximum accelleration and MINIMAL clutch slippage at the same time.
The Turbo Boost comes on BIG TIME now and it's hard to hold the Horses back at the same time!
