How can you tell if you have a faulty FP gauge?

I was wondering if some one could tell me how do you know if your FP gauge is faulty? I've asked few people and no one seems to have answer?

Or if your really need to test it fast use you boost gauge... it should handle it for the test period...

Just my 2 cents worth...

I would suggest an air compressor with a good regulator on it and regulate the air press to aprox 15psi.
Any thoughts?
