How can I make a 160hp pump crazy?

I am no P-pump tech but I can give you some real world feed back on how well 160 pumps can perform. For me, 190 DV's made a huge impact on performance. I can make it midnight behind my truck if I want to. With the pump in it's present state it is fueling enough to make 46 psi of boost - way too much for the stock turbo. And that is not maxing out the fuel plate. The truck is a monster and makes so much torque that it is starting to take a toll on my BD converter.
It depends on just how much power you want, but if you want around 400hp, from my experience, I think the 160 will support it without a problem.

IHOHO, I think you will get between 450-500 hp out of it by adding just delivery valves to the pump and all the other goodies to your engine and turbo. After that its time to find a 215 pump, dish out the big jing for a race pump, or get yours bombed at a pump shop. FWIW I would add delivery valves and run it for now because you have plenty of other things to get on the way to your 500+ mark. Good luck and keep us posted. just my .002

Thanks CTD NUT. It is great to have someone tell me how delivery valves effected their truck. I want to try to keep my fueling and air flow balanced. I'm thinking if I get the 191's with the 370's, it might force me into a bigger turbo real fast.

Awray: With the most insane laser cuts money can buy, as well as DD3's for the 12v,4k gov springs,timing at 16 degrees and a 0 plate i only made around 400-410 on my old 95 4x4 auto...just to give you a base line...

Don't qoute me on this but when I bought my stoopid pump from piers they said it'd take well over 100psi of boost to burn all the fuel it's capable of putting out and that if I was able to burn all the fuel it could dump then you'd be looking up in the 1200-1300hp range. Right now it's just supporting a measley 600-650ish hp.

Compared to other vehicles I run against, I think I'm in the 350hp range - though, I admit I have never been on a dyno but have raced trucks that have. The power I have now is with the #6 plate pulled back a fair bit to keep the stock turbo from self destructing so I know there is a fair bit of fuel left when I go to a bigger turbo and injectors.

My best numbers UNCORRECTED on #2 is 725, corrected (Vegas) is 748, Water on is 775 UNCORRECTED and 804 corrected for Vegas...that 6%....both at no more than 75 psi.
When you start talking corrected numbers for high altitude your talking about something totally different.............NO ONE has been close to 800 on #2 only UNCORRECTED..........or no one knows about it!
Now for the Stoopid pump here are some numbers to crunch.....valet fuel is 325 cc's....power is 565, full fuel mode is over 700cc's and the power is 725 as listed above for #2, the game continues.

If you take note, I said "Well over 100psi" not just 100psi. :P I believe the full fuel CC's on the stoopid pump was 750? I was pretty sure it was higher than 700cc's. I could be wrong though. I'm thinking 720ish maybe. I also thought that no-boost fuel on the stoopid pump was mininum of 560cc's. *shrug*
