Is the "Hot" juice worth $100?
Is it worth an extra $100 for the hot upgrade?
I have had the juice now for about 3 months, run on level 5 full time, and level 3 with my camper on.
In these 3 months I have NEVER tried to floor it for any longer than about 2 or 3 seconds, because by then, I'm going wayyyy too fast, and, I'm afraid of hurting the tranny at a shifting point.
Does the "hot" option improve the bottem end any more than 5X5?
Thanks

I was reading that you had the edge juice, I have a 2001 3500 dodge with a 47re auto. You mentioned you run it in level 5 all day. Did you need to do anything to your transmission or do you just keep the fluids changed. I was curious because i was thinking about getting one.

IMHO, the hot code made a BIG difference in my truck. In my opinion, what is happening is that they are basically "flattening" out the HP/TQ graph. Meaning, it still has the same peak power, but it feels like the power comes on sooner and lasts longer.
I KNOW the defuel RPM has been raised, and it pulls all the way till the tach is burried in redline.

Hot juice
I have had it for almost a year stock tranny with no problems. I also have all the other things in my sig and still shifts like new. I makes a big difference in smoke power and all around.

You can use a lot of power without abusing the tranny. But I don't every drag race, that would probably not help one too much...

The truck is about to hit 73k tommorow and I havent had any problems yet. Where I work we also do Transmissions too, so in the near future I'm going to build it up, but the main reason I havent done anything yet is because I havent had 1 problem with slippage or anything.
