Hooking up Trans temp gauge
Hey guys,
I am in the process of installing my Autometer ultra lite trans temp (electrical). Has anyone installed one out there? The instructions say to install the red lead to the sending unit in the pan, and the black to a "good engine ground". I have been crawling around and can't find one that looks "good".
Also, another wire to the "Ignition".
Any advice on a good engine ground and which ignition wire to tap into??
Thanks all,
Chris

Cigarette lighter is a nice, easy to find wire, big fused source of ignition-on 12 volts.
While your down there, the light in the ashtray is a nice source to tap for dimmable guage lighting.
