Holley pump install question
For those of you that have installed a holley P.P. how did you connect to the tank(or line)? For those that have replaced the tank pick up what did you use?

I hooked -6 an aeroquip hose directly to the factory clip @ the fuel tank. Had to drop the tank a little go I could get in there, hardest part was removing the clip the hose fit on nice and tight

Well my LP went out so I looked for other ways to fix the LP problem, but doing it for cheap. I just order a blue pump and a vulcan relocation kit. I didnt want to bother with finding all the hoses and clamps and things. Also it removed the banjo bolts which I wanted to do also. The pump is working fine so far. I've put about 1500 miles on it so far. Also I mounted it right in front of the tank.

I used a Carter P4601 pump relocated to the frame, but as far as connecting to the tank, a Parker 6AN line connected to the stock plastic pickup on top of the tank was what I did as well. Hardest part as MKELLY said was removing the plastic OEM clip. You have to squeeze two tabs, one on each side and one of mine was facing almost down so I couldn't get a finger in there. I had to slightly drop the tank too. Hose is attached with one hose clamp. No problems for the past few months.

Thanks guys, I am trying to gather the fittings I need but am having trouble finding the metric adapters locally. I want to do it this weekend since the truck is down and I plan on doing my injetors anyway. I'll have to search PHX to find them. I have tried search function here but it has not been participating. It finally did this morning, but it tends to get into "my way is better". I appreciate straight info. Keep it coming!
Thanks,
Randy
