holley blue question
just installed my holley blue, besides it being so hot to touch and very noisy seems ok,question is when its not running is it causing a seriuos restriction?before install my factory pump ran at 14 psi idling and low when the comp was on.now if i dont have the holley running it takes longer to reach 14psi and when driving it goes down to like 2psi,so i have to have the holley on all the time,i was hoping to have the holley on a switch and only use it when the comp was on whic isnt very often, should i have bucked up for the fass????

DD.. Sounds like you are running the HB as a pusher pump... BigBlue seems to be having good luck with his setup.. (and I like his pump location.. and lines..) If you are going to run both pumps, and toggle the Holly off and on.. you need to build a bypass for the Holley with a checkvalve.. or the stock will have a very hard time trying to pull through the Holly.. (seem like that is what you are seeing..) Also remember that if you run both pump in series without a regulator before the pump, the pressures that both pumps will be stacked.. If the Holley is producing 15 psi.. and the stock LP 14psi.. with both running the pump will see 29 psi... Good Luck..
