Zero problems to date w/the hblue. Upon start up the LP is activated for a second but after that, there is a slight delay (1-3seconds) which the LP is not activated thus there is not the high fuel psi as one would expect and or cause difficulty in start up.

So as I understand it the 01 (like mine) had to have a mod to the tranny pan or an in line t of some sort as there is no stock port to tap into????? And that is great info. But yep there is always a but. I dont want a bost gauge, the three I wanted are FB, pyro and trany. so most of the retailers on Ebay dont sell em, just the config. you listed. Giesel Manor latest quote for the 3 is 535 and change just for pyro and fp is 400 and change.
From my days of streeting my 69 camaro I learnt that idiot lights and gauges are only good till you are at critical mass, i they dont offset the blow up point, redundant back-ups do , hence my interest in adding the back ups. Again all good stuff to ponder and an exchange of ideas is allways a learning tool.

I forget where I read it, but Big Blue had a post about taking a screen out of the blue & gaining fuel pressure. Something along those lines? Maybe stretching a spring?

Inlet screens on the pumps will block flow and starve the pump. Best thing to do is to remove the screen, and put an inline fuel filter in.
IIRC it's there as a spark arrestor for gas engines, and serves no purpose for us.

Ironically enough, I may have to replace my Holley Black. Was doing my weekly inspection laying under the truck tonight and noticed the bottom plate wet. Touched it and sure enough it's fuel leaking. It's moist but no drips anywhere on the driveway. I've already got 1/2 inch hoses so hopefully I can find a solution that will work well with these instead.
