holley blue

Bought a holley blue today. Quick question though. It was cheaper with the regulator but do i need it?

I run no regulator, with both stock and holley blue i get 23psi at idle. I think most everybody dosn't use them, it must come with the pump for different applications

Agree. It's not needed and it's just one more thing that could possibly fail. If it's not in the sytem it can't break and cause you a problem.

I have the extension fromthe vulcan kit, will that work on the holley or will I need another power source.

I'd run the Holley blue from a relais. You'll need a battery source (fused) and put the hot wire from the vulcan extension to the coil side of the relais, other coil post to ground, switched post to the holley. I had the holley running off the ECM for a short time but the pump made some electrical noise that the ECM didn't like too much (ran like ****)
