That's the one. Looks like I got smacked for $40. Oh well, I needed the pump.
What is the procedure for bleeding the fuel system after installing the big line/pusher pump system and a new fuel filter cartridge? Do I need to crack the injector lines, or can you just run the fuel pump 2 or 3 cycles?

Marine pumps is around $300, and the regulator around $200. 2 year warranty.
FASS II has a built in pressure regulator, come with all the hoses & fittings, and instructions. $380 delivered (I got mine for $325 in a group buy), 4 year/400K mile warranty.

Actually, pump is $420 from Summit, and reg is $200.
$620 between the two-- cheap, no.
But the technology of this thing compared to other pumps is like comparing a Cray supercomputer to a Tandy 1000. Yes, they are both computers...but are they the same?
The composites in these Aeromotive pumps are so hard that they must be machined with diamond tooling-- nothing else is hard enough. It's similar to the ceramic composites used in Schubeck lifters (See Don M's post on ceramic tappets..)
Plus, the thing just flat moves the fuel. It delivers rated flow at up to 45psi! In other words, the pump will deliver the same volume into 45psi restriction as it will in free flow!
Try *that* with a FASS. Will a FASS even pump ANY fuel at 45psi?
I'm not trying to bag on the FASS. NO doubt many guys are really happy with it.
I just think that for the price of a FASS, or HPFP you can do better...
Anyway-- I'll never look down on someone for owning a FASS or DPP product, even if I'm not convinced on them just yet...
jmo--and only jmo

I agree if you are pushing 700 - 1000 HP that pump would be the way to go. Under 500 HP the FASS or FASS II is fine?
Why is it fuel pumps are a hotter topic that politics?

FASS will pump at 45PSI and some....i have seen it with my own 2 on the test bench! BUT the current motors are not designed for that pressure. haha....GPH want too shabby...more than enough for 95% of the trucks on the road.
