Re:Highest 24 valve Diesel only?

Nathan the rest of my stuff came today. Thanks again & boy theres alot of stuff in a set of twins.Im glad to hear your new setup is working for you & i hope i can get your old setup on my truck & running as good as you had it.Don i need to talk to you about injectors again.right now i have a set of your 14 hole mach 4.8 as rod calls em & im not sure if i should stay with these with the twins or if i should go with a standard set of mach 5s.these 4.8s really smoke & they work great with a b1 on nitrous.Im right at 600 horse on nitrous.kurt.

Kurt,

You already have a new set on the bench sitting here. They are sweet I should have gotten off my tail and mailed them to you already, but wanted you to dyno or at least road test the ones you have with the twins. I have never dynoed a set of twins with injectors like you are running. It would be nice to get some data. 8)

Smoke? They smoke? Well, what the heck...as long as the truck does not smoke from the front and you can still see where you are going......no problem right??

Don~

Wow..That's an incredible number! Looks like the B2 is going to be an awsome Turbo....I can't wait to see offshoreracer's truck run again once we get it back on the road. I know he's dying to dyno too!!

Re:Highest 24 valve Diesel only?

Kurt,

Yep, EE can o-ring it for you. There are a few routes to go on gaskets. Copper will really hold the pressure, but is going to be a long term PIA. Leakies will drive you crazy and the head and block have to be perfectly flat/surfaced..

The thicker marine gasket from Cummins with a single o-ring seems to work well for many guys. Generally they are better at sealing (long term) the oil and water than copper. Copper can work good, but the prep work required is more than most guys want to do. The marine gasket will not hold high boost numbers though.

EE will have what you need to make it all happen.

I have the ultimate solution as well. It is expensive and the prep work is more than copper requires. It requires machining efforts that most shops are not tooled to do.
Long delivery times on the parts as well. Special order because the parts I use are one-off and require a manufacturing process that is lengthy.

Don~

Great job Nathan

Kurt,

If you haven't already, get yourself a Billet output shaft. Save yourself the trouble and do it now, I made..... well I tried to make a pass at the strip, broke first try first time on the line while building boost. EE can set you up, and they have a neat idea for your heat exchanger. Good Luck.

Don,

Do you have a set of special injectors for me. I'd like to step up and run with the big dogs now ;D

Fred
