Higher EGTs w/ HRVP44?

How much of a EGT increase am I looking at with an HRVP?

Cruising, I've noticed no increase in EGT. And looking at the fuel you're pushing, I'd imagine you can peg the pyro already, so the HRVP might just get you there a little sooner.

Mine probably hits 1100 maybe 1200, but by that time its time to let off on the back roads.

I can hit 1500 quickly, and I am not fueling as hard as you are. If your VP is not dead, I would look for another turbo before upgrading the VP. Just my $.02. HTH.

Ive also heard that when you hit a certain hp the hotrod vp actually makes less than a stock one would,is that right guys?

My truck wont start when its over 90 degreees outside and I have to rev it up to a bit over 1000 rpm to get it into drive.

If you need a replacement vp then the hrvp should make your other bombs work better by providing more fuel throughout the rpm range, but hrvp or so vp44 both seem to top out around 600 hp without drugs.

That is my problem. I can get used 200+ dynomite sticks right now for a great price from a buddy and get a normal VP. What mods would be needed for 600hp without a HRVP44?

Comp + mach 6 + the right turbo(s) = 600 hp
Either you're looking at a 66 turbo or twins.

The only person I know of on this board running 600+ on a single turbo 2nd gen is Jetpilot with his steriod b-1: he'll make some good recomendations

I heard his truck is way more modified now,running mach 8's and a p pump with F1 valvetrain and some nitrous.Yeah he used to run a B1 I think with a redline box
