I was wondering if you still had that......That's that one-off that you posted about on TDR a good while back correct?

The Scotty II....redux? Cool. Have to hang on to mine then. I seriously hope it would be updated with a dry flow filter of some sorts.

Yes, it's the one. The outlet is 7"

Even though the pretty blue element is now all black, it still flows like a champ, and all I have to do to give it more capacity is take it off and dump the dirt out.

The Powercore design is just genius, imo.

I looked up the flow of the BHAF. It's 680 CFM @ 8".

So my filter is almost double that.

I made this one for a friend and now I may put it on mine. Its not hard to make. I have made lots out of steel but I like this one better.

As I recall, the SuperBHAF flows a tad over 1400 CFM.

1400 cfm at what pressure drop? That's impressive at 8", but if it's 6" or 4", I think I'll go completely ga-ga.

Thats impressive for the size too. I've got a filter over twice that size that only flows 960 and it won't fit under the hood without some radical piping Anyone need a eco se?

Pressure drop @ whatever FleetGuard uses for their rating - the CFM is printed on the side of the filter, don't recollect if the drop is also there.

Don't forget, the SuperBHAF uses TWO CTD air filters.

While designing it a couple of years ago, I researched all of the available air filters for their CFM rating vs. dimensions vs. configuration... and quickly realized that the huge CFM filters would never package into the OEM engine bay - but a pair of large filters would outperform them and fit underhood.

... strangely enough, my filter change intervals have doubled!
