Yeah, I know I should tweak up the stock turbo. In the meantime I was reading up what Big Blue 24 did on his truck and think that I could benefit from a HE-351 turbo, so I started looking into that. The price on the 351 setup is nothing like a performance turbos so I may give it a try but I will try to get the HX-35 to higher boost first to at least get a baseline. I would hate actually to do that and find out that I have plenty of power then, after I buy a HE-351 components, so I may have to skip playing with the HX
Regardless, boost and pyro are the next two things I need. I don't even know what boost my stocker is making - how embarrassing is that. Unfortunately, the HE-351 is the one I think I want...

I ran essentially the same setup on my '99 with the exception of an Edge EZ. To be honest,I felt the truck was a dog without the box being hooked up. The 1.6's are great, but in combo makes for a very quick truck. With my 2000# camper and 6000' of elevation I could black out the pristine environment pretty easily which I never intentionally did. I definitely needed the DTT on that truck.

I agree with you, the box makes it "quick" (meaning, you touch the gas pedal and the truck jumps like a scared rabbit, making some smoke to cover the tracks), and when running empty (with bed full of gear that is, 1,500 lbs) the box is fun to have. But "quick" does not apply when you have 10,000 lbs hooked up to the bumper. Instead, the "quick" becomes "smoky", "hot" and irritating. That is where I felt the injectors made a big difference: not the exciting teenager-style, revving up and tire-spinning power, but the deep-down-at-the-bottom, reliable might throughout the usable range of RPMs, without clouds of smoke spewing out any time you bump the go-pedal a bit too swiftly.
All I can say the box does IMO is give the power right now, in a small range of pedal motion. This is not usable, at least for me, when the rig weighs 18,000+ lbs. The box makes an empty truck fun to drive with rapid acceleration from 1,400 to 2000 rpm being the main difference.
